Medium: Procreate (iPad)
About: I was given the prompt “What is the reality of the situation?”. My interpretation was humanity being the thing that’s “real” and anything non-living, such as a robot or other machinery could be considered a simple object. On occasion, I do like to reference and draw inspiration from art history, in this case The Creation of Adam by Michaelangelo. A human hand is inspecting the machinery to fill that curiosity on whether or not a robot is considered to be real. At the time of creating this, I didn’t make the connection, but this also relates to the idea of AI art. With the upcoming development of more and more AI programs, it can get harder to tell what’s “real art” (created by a real artist) and what’s program made.
